Our presenter is Eliza Hardy Jones. She is a quiltmaker and internationally touring musician, singer, and songwriter from Philadelphia. According to Jones, she “inherited a love of stich and song from a long line of wild women, musicians, and seamstresses.” With each quilt, Jones materialized the women’s voices as they sang to preserve their communities’ traditions and identity.THIS WILL BE A ZOOM CLASS PRESENTED AT THE CHURCH AND FOR THOSE AT HOME. THE LINK FOR THIS CLASS WILL BE SENT ONE WEEK BEFORE MEETING.
Day Retreat
Notice for day retreat on Saturday February 12, 2022 at New Hope Church in Castle Rock from 9 am to 6 pm. Cost is 20.00. Snacks, tea and water will be provided. Lunch will be on your own. You may bring your lunch or go out. Should it be snowing we will cancel and reschedule for another day.
