Each Quilt Club meeting includes a program/presentation of some sort, a break with snacks, followed by show and tell. If you've been telling yourself you're going to "get into" something like this "someday," today is the day. So come check us out, bring a friend or two and have some fun. Guests are always welcome. Our members are from Castle Rock and the surrounding area including Larkspur, Monument, Parker, Elizabeth, Franktown, Sedalia, Littleton, Highland Park, and Aurora.
Club meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the month at the Lowell Ranch. See below for directions and a map. Membership costs $20 per year, $10 for senior citizens and juniors. It entitles you to participate in various activities including our mystery quilt, charity quilt, bi-annual quilt show, and monthly programs. New members receive a name tag and welcome folder. DIRECTIONS & MAP
From the north - take I-25 south to Plum Creek Parkway exit 181. Exit the highway, turn left (east) on Plum Creek Parkway and then right onto Wilcox. Travel 2.7 miles south. You will pass Medved Auto Dealers, Colorado Engineering & Duke's Steakhouse, Crystal Valley Parkway, the Quarter Horse Inn, and Creekside Bible Church. Watch for the left turn lane into Creekside Bible Church but don't turn yet. Shortly after you pass the church, on your left there will be a round sign with a 4-H clover in the middle that says "The Lowell Ranch at Plum Creek". Turn left into the gravel drive just after the sign. We'll be in the white barn on your left.
From the south - take I-25 south to Tomah Road. Exit Tomah Road, turn right (east) and then immediately left (north) onto the frontage road. Travel 4.3 miles north. You will pass the Columbine Open Space, the truck entrance for CastleRock Rock Inc., and Bell Mountain Parkway. 9 tenths of a mile after Bell Mountain Parkway, on your right there will be a round sign with a 4-H clover in the middle that says "The Lowell Ranch at Plum Creek". Turn right into the gravel drive just before the sign the sign. We'll be in the white barn on your left.
From the east - from Franktown take highway 86 west towards Castle Rock. Continue straight at Founders Parkway--you'll now be on Fifth Street. Continue down the hill to Wilcox. Turn left (south) on Wilcox. After you cross Plum Creek Parkway, travel 2.7 miles south.
