February 2024 Meeting

Let’s have a Panel Palooza! If you received a panel at the December Christmas party, don’t put it on a shelf, in a box or under a pile. Bring it to the February meeting, along with a ruler and some colored pencils, and we will play with ideas to get you started on a winning design. (If you didn’t attend, please bring any panel from your stash.) The program committee will provide graph paper, a slide show and some book reviews. Help us help you — if you have a book about panel quilts or a finished panel quilt you especially like, bring it for inspiration. You’ll be entered into a drawing for a sweetheart of a prize.
PLEASE BRING: your panel, a ruler, colored pencils, any book you have featuring panel quilts (if you have one), any panel quilt you’ve made that you especially like (if you have one).
NEW THIS YEAR: The panel challenge ends in July (yes, we’re meeting in July!) so that you will be able to enter your masterpiece in the 2024 Douglas County Fair. Come get ideas and start early!
