Breakout Workshop

Come master the modern log cabin block with our June speaker Kate Colleran on Saturday, June 8th
. The workshop will be held in our meeting room at New Hope Presbyterian Church, beginning at 9:00am and running until 1:00pm. For those who can stay longer, we have the room until 4:00pm, so you are welcome to stay and complete more of your project.
The Log Cabin block is so versatile; a classic block with many ways to change it up. In this workshop, students will get basic tips on getting that good ¼” seam allowance, chain piecing and more — all while making this modern block! Once you have your blocks made, we will discuss block placement in the quilt. The quilt can be made to look different just by rotating the blocks!
